Building Communities

Working within
your building's rules.

Polxine understands that residential building communities have their own protocols, schedules, and expectations. Here's how we fit in.

How Polxine operates in residential towers

We work within the rules and protocols of each building. Our teams are trained to operate discreetly and professionally in shared residential environments.

Identified Team Members

All Polxine team members carry identification and can be registered with building administration before beginning work in a new building. We can provide team details in advance to any concierge that requires it.

Elevator & Common Area Use

Our teams are trained to use service elevators where available, respect quiet hours, and avoid congesting common areas during peak building traffic times. We bring our own equipment so storage use is minimal.

Access Coordination

Access is managed directly with the apartment owner. We work with key boxes, digital codes, or key handoff arrangements — whichever method the owner and building prefer. We don't retain physical keys.

Scheduled Arrival Windows

Turnovers are scheduled around checkout and check-in times. We don't arrive unannounced. Building administration can request advance notice of team arrival if needed for their visitor log procedures.

Waste Disposal

We follow the building's waste disposal rules — separating recyclables where required, using designated trash areas, and never leaving waste in common areas. Each building's specific waste protocol is noted for our teams.

Respect for Other Residents

Our teams work quietly and efficiently. We avoid noise during restricted hours, keep hallways clear of equipment, and conduct ourselves in a way that doesn't disrupt the living environment of other residents.

What to tell your building's administration

If your building requires pre-authorization for service providers, we can supply documentation about Polxine's operation to assist with that process. We can provide:

Company identification and contact information
Names and identification of team members assigned to your building
Description of the services performed and typical duration
Confirmation of scheduled visit windows

Many building administrations in Santiago, Viña del Mar, and Concepción are familiar with short-stay rental operations. We've found that clear communication with concierge staff from the start makes ongoing access smooth for everyone.

What building administrators ask us

Answers to the questions we hear most often from building administration and community committees.

How often will your team be in the building?
This depends on the apartment owner's booking frequency. In active short-stay rentals, turnovers typically occur every two to four days. We can provide an estimated schedule to building administration on request.

Do you work with multiple apartments in the same building?
Yes. If a building has multiple owners using Polxine, we coordinate visits to minimize the number of separate team entries and reduce any disruption to common areas.

How do you handle buildings with strict visitor registration?
We follow whatever registration process the building requires. Our teams carry identification and are accustomed to signing in at reception. We can also pre-register visit windows with the concierge.

What happens if there's a problem during a visit?
Our teams have a direct contact line to Polxine coordination. Any issue — access, equipment, building-specific questions — is escalated immediately. Apartment owners also have a contact for any concerns.
